cenotaph

Street
in front of the
Vail
mansion
. It was
commissioned
by the
city
to
honor
the
Morristown
men who
died
in
WWI
, and was
dedicated
in
1928
, on the
10th
anniversary
of the
signing
of the
Armistice
. The
monument
and its
setting
was
designed
by
John
R.
Brinley
, a
Morristown
resident
and
landscape
architect
