Creator	Thomas Nast 1840-1902
Description	This original Nast note and sketch was discovered by the donors, when they were removing an unrelated print from an old picture frame. This small sketch, attached to cardboard, was used as the backing for the framed print. Otherwise its provenance is unknown. The Copley Prints, published by Curtis and Cameron, were high quality printers of art reproductions at the turn of the 19th century.
